- I highly recommend DJ Joey to any couple getting married in Destin, FL or the surrounding area. Joey did a fabulous job keeping our reception upbeat and our guests on their feet. Both sides of Tommy and my family enjoy dancing but we don't all like the same kinds of music. We wanted everyone to relax and have a great time but it was difficult trying to make a list of music that would appeal to everyone's taste. Eventually, we just decided on a few special songs for Joey to play, let him know a little about our guests attending (ages etc..) and left the rest up to him. He absolutely nailed every song that anyone of my guests wanted to hear whether they requested it or not. Everyone stayed on the dance floor all night long. Both, young and old were dancing side by side laughing and having the best time. People still talk about not only was my wedding beautiful but of what a great time they had at the reception. - D.J. Joey did a great job as our D.J. He took requests from our guests and played every song we had on our list. When we were researching D.J.'s many said they would not take requests from guests and would only play what we had listed, and their prices were more expensive. D.J. Joey did a great job reading the crowd and played songs that kept the party going. He even helped us make our first dance special by playing a surprise montage of songs half way through our song. It was a very memorable reception, many said the best they had ever been to. That would not have been possible with out him.
